Hitachi Solutions selects Mind as their new charity partner
Each year we consider ‘Our Purpose’ and this year, based on feedback from our people and trends in the marketplace, we are excited to embark upon our new charity partnership with Mental Health Charity, Mind. This is an important partnership to our business as we recognise the importance of good mental health both at work, and at home.
We all have Mental Health, we have good days and bad days, days we want to shout from the rooftops and days we want to huddle down under a blanket. One in four people in the UK with experience a mental health challenge every year and the COVID-19 pandemic has only accelerated the prevalence of these issues. It’s crucial that we as a society, and as businesses, take action to support people’s mental wellbeing.
At Hitachi Solutions Europe we have a duty of care towards our people, we want to ensure they feel supported and able to cope with any challenges they face. By partnering with Mind, we are committing to providing resources and support for mental health both in the workplace and at home.
Supporting mental health is not just about fulfilling our duty of care, we know that when our people feel valued and supported, they are more likely to be engaged, productive and motivated. A culture of openness and support around mental health helps reduce any stigmas and creates a more inclusive workplace that people want to be part of.
We are proud to partner with Mind and look forward to working together to promote good mental health in the workplace and beyond.
