The programme is built around 4 key elements
Introduction to Hitachi Solutions
Participants will engage in sessions covering all things Hitachi Solutions, providing a comprehensive overview of our business. These sessions span multiple departments—Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Project Management—broadening perspectives on the diverse pathways available within the tech sector.
Microsoft Partnership
As one of Microsoft’s Inner Circle Gold partners, we offer an exclusive, interactive session delivered by Microsoft experts exploring cutting-edge low/no-code and pro-code AI technology. Participants will gain an invaluable insight into one of the most in-demand topics in tech currently.
Transferable Soft Skills Development
Over two full days, participants will develop core skills essential for any career. One day will focus on User-Centred Design (UCD), while the other will cover Consulting Skills, with hands-on activities designed to enhance problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation abilities.
Hosting Department
The Gen H programme will collectively be hosted by a different department within Hitachi Solutions, allowing participants to explore different roles within the industry. Future programmes may be hosted by Consulting, User Centered Design, Marketing and Project Management.

Our ideal candidate?
We’re looking for individuals who bring the right mindset over experience—curiosity, inclusivity, motivation, and initiative are what matter most. While skills and experience are secondary, there are a few basic criteria you’ll need to meet.
Essential Criteria
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be over the age of 18
- Minimum required level of education—secondary school
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite with tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Must be able to attend 100% of the internship programme
- Must be able to spend 3 days per week in our head office in London (110 Bishopsgate)

Is this a paid internship? Yes, all our internships are fully compensated.

Will this programme have a specific focus? The programme will be specifically held within our Data and Analytics team.
Where will the internship be held? At the Hitachi Solutions London Office (110 Bishopsgate).
Is this internship hybrid? Yes, the internship will be hybrid, with the opportunity to work from home.
Will there be an assessment centre? Yes, there will be a formal assessment centre at our London office, which will consist of a writing task, an interview, an informal chat, and a group exercise.
