On Demand: Digital innovation and the need for speed

On January 26th, an exclusive event, aimed at senior IT business executives was held at the Microsoft Store on Regent Street. Speakers in attendance included Rob Smithson from Microsoft UK, Rolls-Royce’s Director of IT Solutions, and Olympic cycling champion Victoria Pendleton. Sessions from the event are now accessible for viewing, offering valuable knowledge on how companies are using digital innovation to improve their business operations.

Paul Taylor-Jones, Director of IT Solutions, joined us to discuss how Microsoft technology & IT helps them maintain the edge and gain a full 360-degree view of their customers and assets.

Microsoft UK’s Business Applications Lead, Rob Smithson, shared some of the latest digital innovation trends which Microsoft customers are adopting to ensure they remain competitive in shifting and uncertain times.

Victoria Pendleton, CBE is one of Britain’s greatest cyclists, with three Olympic and two Commonwealth medals to her name; including gold in the first ever women’s Olympic Keirin competition at the London Olympics in 2012. Victoria dominated women’s sprint cycling between 2005 to 2012, and although the individual sprint was her specialist discipline, she also claimed multiple victories in the Team Sprint, Keirin and Time Trial disciplines at the National and World Track championships during this time.
