The Local Government Strategy forum is the opportunity for new suppliers to listen to customer’s needs
The Local Government Strategy forum is a key date in the calendar for local authorities to come together and discuss a wide range of themes, from whole systems transformation and the future of adult social care, through to Data Analytics and Digital Transformation. Although there is a strong focus on sharing experiences and examples between authorities, it’s also an opportunity for established and new suppliers alike to listen to customer’s needs, and use that to inform their propositions.
That’s one of the reasons we’re so looking forward to attending the Local Gov Strategy Forum this year — because we want to hear, direct from the audience themselves, what challenges they’re facing, and what they’re learning as they come up with solutions.
As a technology partner in the formative stages of a long-term commitment to local government, we can only be successful if we listen to what possible future customers need, and what they are saying. The forum is a perfect chance for us to engage with those organisations, to listen, to find common ground, and to innovate new ways in which we can support them.
The roundtable will only succeed if we can make this a two-way conversation
To set the ball rolling, we will be opening the forum with a roundtable discussion looking at whether moving to a single applications platform could be a realistic target for Local Government. One which, even if not achievable, sets a direction which delivers real benefit and transformation through the journey rather than necessarily reaching the end.
The roundtable will only succeed if we can make this a two-way conversation, all sharing thoughts on whether we consider this to be a realistic aim. We would love to see as many people there as possible, so we can learn from one another and together arrive at the best possible outcomes.
