Hitachi Solutions is sponsoring the Local Gov Strategy Forum on 15th and 16th May 2018, at the Heythrop Park Resort, Oxfordshire.
The Local Gov Forum will discuss whether a single application platform is achievable or desirable
As a long-standing Microsoft partner, with a track record of successful Public Sector projects, an increasing number of Local Authorities are seeking the services of Hitachi Solutions to help transform their business processes and move forward to the future. Our expertise in Microsoft cloud solutions, across Microsoft’s Dynamics 365, data and IoT platforms, have led to us being approached by a number of authorities needing to transform how they deliver services and their customer experience.
Hitachi Solutions will host a group discussion on the future of business applications for Local Government The starting point for the discussion is whether a single application platform would ever be achievable or desirable.
Many organisations are increasingly turning to application platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 to standardise their service delivery. Many have made significant progress in delivering multiple services from one platform, but where some businesses in other sectors have standardised completely on the Microsoft cloud platform, this is still some way off for local authorities.
Through the course of the debate we will look to draw out whether this is a realistic aim for local authorities – and if it were, what the benefits for councils and customers alike might be. All are welcome to join the conversation to learn from each other and share insights and experiences.
