Ian has over 35 years' experience of working in, or with, Local Government in the UK.
His work career started in central government, with the Dept. of Employment, and then the Valuation Office, before moving to Local Government, where he worked for Brighton, Haringey and Croydon Councils, specialising in Revenues & Benefits and Housing.
Ian has been particularly focussed on e-govt ever since its conception in the UK, at the time of the millennium, and he has worked for the market-leading CRM and digital government solution providers to local government, and worked with dozens of UK Local Authorities in implementing these solutions, following best practice and market-leading technologies.
Ian is Hitachi Solutions Business Development Director for UK Public Sector and specialises in the Microsoft Cloud technology stack, in particular, D365 and PowerBI for customer engagement.
